Our Approach
Giving you can watch work.
Our approach fits in one equation and one promise. Sport builds confidence and belonging; data proves what changed. And every dollar you give stays visible from your gift to the outcome.
Follow one dollar
This is the whole model. Watch a gift travel from your hands to a reported outcome, with nothing hidden along the way.
01
You pick a line
A project's budget, itemized. You fund exactly the line you choose: bus fare, a stipend, equipment.
02
The money lands
Your gift is recorded against that line, publicly. The project's raised figure updates live.
03
The work happens
Local leaders run the program. Every expense is logged against its budget line as it's spent.
04
You see the result
The outcome and the learnings are reported, including what didn't work. Your dashboard has all of it.
Money in, money out, in the open
Every project page carries a live ledger. Money raised shows in azure; money spent shows in clay, logged against the exact budget line it came from. When nothing has been spent, the page says so plainly. No invented numbers, ever.
Donors get the same ledger in their dashboard, plus the full reports: the outcome, the receipts where available, and what we'd do differently next time.

The third promise
Local leaders run the work. We build behind them.
The people running these programs know their communities better than we ever will. They tell the story, hold the credit, and keep the systems we build. SFG contributes what's hard to buy on a small nonprofit's budget: platforms, clinics, fundraising infrastructure, and data tools, provided pro-bono or at sliding scale. Everything is documented and handed over.
See it for yourself.
Open any project, read its budget line by line, and fund the line that speaks to you. We'll show you where it goes.
